LEGAL GUARANTEE

Minimum two-year legal guarantee protection for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can claim their rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, for example if goods:

  • do not match the description;
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity which existed when the goods were delivered, and which becomes apparent within the legal guarantee period. Sellers in such a situation are required to offer:

  • free repair or free replacement;
  • in some cases, a price reduction or full reimbursement.

Some countries have a longer legal guarantee period. For second-hand goods, a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

What to do if you receive non-conforming goods:

  1. Contact the seller as soon as possible to report the issue;

Why a sterile urine container

The urine container is a sterile container designed for collecting and transporting samples: urine, sputum, cerebrospinal fluid, mucus and other biological material for routine laboratory tests.

The container for biological fluids is made of ultra-pure polypropylene. The material is non-toxic, transparent, sufficiently flexible, moisture resistant and resistant to oils and solvents at temperatures up to 130 °C, and is designed for making tubes and containers used in medicine.

The urine container comes with a hermetically sealed red cap that reliably protects against leaks and keeps the closed container fully sealed while biological material is transported. The cap is made of polyethylene. The material is non-toxic, flexible and highly resistant to impact and centrifugation.

The packaging and the container are marked in accordance with UNI CEI EN ISO 15223-1 "Symbols to be used with medical device labels, labelling and information to be supplied".
A label on the transparent wall of the container is used to record sample and patient details.

Precautions and use

Biological substances must be treated as hazardous fluids. After use, the container becomes potentially infectious waste, which must be collected, stored and disposed of with all the measures needed to prevent infection.
