Delivery and payment

This is an English translation provided for convenience. If there is any difference between the two versions, the Romanian version prevails.

The conditions below apply to all orders placed on the website. They are the same for individuals and legal entities, except for payments made by bank transfer.

How delivery works

Orders confirmed before the warehouse closes are shipped the same working day. Orders that are not confirmed or are placed after closing time will be delivered on the next working day.

Delivery is by courier, to the address you entered at checkout.

Goods are handed over with the invoice. On receipt, check the number of parcels and the condition of the packaging. If a parcel is damaged, note it on the courier’s document and let us know the same day on 0770 299 279.

For deliveries to the Republic of Moldova, the terms are agreed for each order. Write to office@profipentrusanatate.ro before placing your order.

Payment methods

  • Online card payment (Visa, Maestro, Mastercard), at checkout, through Raiffeisen Bank and PlatiOnline. The details are below, under How to pay online by card.
  • Cash on delivery, paid to the courier in cash or by card, if the courier accepts card payment on delivery. The law limits cash payments to 10,000 lei per day from an individual and 5,000 lei per day from a legal entity; above these amounts, choose another method.
  • Bank transfer, for business accounts with a verified tax ID (CUI), based on the pro forma invoice or the tax invoice. The order is prepared once we receive payment.

How to pay online by card

The online shop www.profipentrusanatate.ro uses the services of Raiffeisen Bank / PlatiOnline.ro for online transactions. You can pay online with your personal or company card, in complete safety. We accept cards issued under the VISA (Classic and Electron) and MASTERCARD (including Maestro) brands.

Payment relies on a secure online transaction processing system that offers confidentiality, security and simplicity when buying products and services online. Card data is processed exclusively by the bank: our shop does not ask for and does not store any details about your card.

At checkout, choose “Online card payment (Visa/Maestro/Mastercard)” and you will be redirected to the Raiffeisen Plationline page, where you enter your card details. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment (3-D Secure). The order is prepared once the payment is confirmed.

Good to know: no fee is charged for card payments.

If you cancel the order or return the products, the amount paid by card is normally refunded to the same card through PlatiOnline; if that is no longer possible, we send the money by bank transfer to the account you give us. The deadlines are on the Returns and warranty page.

Prices and VAT

Prices are in lei. Each price shows whether VAT is included: “17,50 lei VAT incl.” is the price with VAT, and VAT is added to “14,46 lei + VAT”. VAT is charged at Romania’s standard rate of 21%; where the law provides a reduced rate for a product, that rate applies, and each product’s rate is shown on the invoice. Without an account, you first see the price including VAT, with the price excluding VAT below it. Once you sign in with a business account, the large price is the one excluding VAT, which is what companies work with. The 300 lei free delivery threshold is calculated on the value of the products excluding VAT, without the delivery cost. You see the total to pay, with VAT and delivery, before you place your order.
