Areas of use
ONEGEL is a sterile, water-soluble lubricating gel used to lubricate catheters and other medical devices during urethral, colonic and rectal applications, such as urethral catheterisation, endoscopy and cystoscopy.
It can also be used as a lubricating gel for rectal and colonic applications.
The most important function of the gel is to form a lubricating layer between the catheter or other medical device and the urethral, rectal and colonic mucosa.
Product features
It is disposable.
It dissolves in water.
It is easy to use thanks to the syringe and the accordion tube.
It eliminates the risk of tissue damage.
It contains the antiseptic chlorhexidine gluconate to eliminate the risk of infection.
Lidocaine hydrochloride is a local anaesthetic agent used to prevent pain.
It provides painless catheterisation through its anaesthetic effect.
Thanks to the lubricating properties provided by hydroxyethylcellulose, the patient relaxes, and spasticity and discomfort caused by iatrogenic injuries are minimised.
