Status: partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA (EN 301 549, chapter 9). Last assessment: 29 September 2026, on the test version of the shop. This statement is reviewed at launch and after any significant change.
“Partially conformant” means we found no nonconformity on the criteria we checked, but the test with a screen reader along the whole purchase path has not been done yet. The details are below.
What it covers
The purchase path: the home page, search, categories, the product page, the cart, checkout (as an individual and as a company), the account (sign-in and registration), the contract withdrawal form, the legal guarantee page and this page.
What we checked
- Automated checks (axe-core, the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 rules, levels A and AA) on every page of the path, on desktop and on mobile: no nonconformity.
- Keyboard only, from search to the “Order with obligation to pay” button: every control is reachable with Tab, in a logical order, without traps. Dialogs close with Escape and focus returns where it was.
- Focus: every stop has a visible outline, with a contrast of at least 3:1, not hidden by the header or by the bottom bar.
- Zoom to 200 %, a 320 px wide display (the same as zooming to 400 %) and a phone held sideways: no horizontal scrolling and no lost content.
- Increased text spacing (lines, letters, words, paragraphs): no clipped or overlapping text, except long product names on product cards, which are shortened to two lines by design; the full name is on the product page.
- Contrast: at least 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for field borders and for focus.
- Forms: every field has a label. When a form is sent with mistakes, the list of errors is announced, each wrong field has its own message and focus moves to the first mistake.
- Sign-in: no memory test or puzzle; autofill and pasting the password work.
- Browsers: Chrome, Safari (the WebKit engine) and Firefox.
What we fixed in this assessment
- Focus could not be seen on the links in the dark footer and on the red band. The outline is now white.
- The focus outline of the fields in content forms was very faint. It is now solid, as on the rest of the site.
- On a phone, with increased text spacing, the order button at checkout went off the screen. It now wraps onto two lines.
Known limitations
- The test with a screen reader (VoiceOver on iPhone and Mac, NVDA on Windows) along the whole path has not been done yet. Until then we do not claim full conformance.
- Some product certificates are images of the original documents. Their description does not replace an accessible document; accessible text or PDF versions come from the manufacturers.
- The card payment processor’s page has not been assessed yet: its connection is in progress.
- The European Union notice on the legal guarantee is an official image that cannot be changed. Its full text is next to it, as text.
- The date field in the withdrawal form shows the day, month and year in the browser’s format.
How you can use the shop
- Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move, Enter for links and Space for buttons. The first link takes you straight to the content.
- The mobile menu, search and dialogs close with Escape; focus returns to the button that opened them.
- You can zoom the page in your browser up to 400 %. On narrow screens, the menu and the filters open from their buttons.
- If you asked your system for less motion, animations stop.
- Optional cookies stay off until you choose. The settings reopen from the “Cookie settings” button.
